Viewings & Sales on the increase
Since the start of the year, all of us here in the Hatched team have felt a noticeable increase in the number of viewings being requested as well as general inquiries. We put this down to many things, but from our conversations with customers, there is clearly a real appetite showing that now is the time to buy the right house – be it a bargain or simply just a dream home!
In the first 5 months of 2017 we saw an 18.56% increase in the level of viewings being booked compared with the same period in 2016. Coinciding with this, we have also seen a 27.40% increase in the number of offers coming from home buyers. House sales are also up by 14.84%.
So what does this mean to a cautious onlooker? Well if it’s applicable, you need to sell your current home first!

Increased activity means more investment
The numbers of buyers and inquiries has meant extending the opening hours and the staffing levels accordingly. We have more staff working 5-8pm and weekends to cope with the increased demand from potential home movers.
We have dedicated staff to deal with viewing inquiries, staff who will handle offers and negotiate the best price, sales progression staff to take care of the transaction after the sale has been agreed, and in-house mortgage consultants who can advise and ensure the transaction is as safe as possible.
